Bosch Smart Home Controller For Smart Heat Connectivity

The Bosch Smart Home Controller is a wireless device that allows you to control Bosch home appliances and access the Internet from anywhere in your house. It was created by Robert Bosch GmbH, a multinational company that manufactures hardware and software for manufacturing, healthcare, and automation systems. Additionally, Bosch controls more than 400 companies all over the world. This was a smart move that has paid off for them.

The smart home controller allows you to control the heating, as well as many other Smart devices. For example, you can turn on the Air Conditioning or heating in your residence with the press of a button. You can also turn on lights and lock or unlock your doors using your phone. You can even also use voice commands to control your Bosch Smart home appliances using a compatible device like Alexa or Google Home Assistant.

This way, you can avoid over using energy contributing to higher bills or locking yourself out of your home when you’re out and about. Plus, having a smartphone is so normal in this day and age that it is much more convenient for most people these days than actually carrying keys around. Although I wouldn’t recommend ditching the keys altogether just yet!

You can control the smart home controller from your phone by downloading the free app called SmartThings from Google Play or the Apple Store. While it is known to crash and be buggy for some users, this app has around half a billion downloads, and a very good review score overall. However, if all you want to stick with Bosch, by all means go with the Bosch Smart Home App. Especially if you experience problems using SmartThings.

After downloading the app on your phone, you then need to link your phone to your controller. This gives you access to your home’s smart devices through the Bosch Smart Home cloud system. Scan the QR code of the controller. After a few more steps to gain full connectivity (see the link below for instructions), set up a system password and you are then ready to get started by adding smart devices to specific areas of your home which you can choose personal names for.

To add the devices, the scanning of the QR code for each device is again required. If you want to be able to control your smart devices when not at home, allow remote access. For more information on setting up your smart home controller, and for download links to the App, take a look at this page.

The Bosch Smart Home Controller offers countless other features that make life at home and at work more convenient. Not only does it control lights, temperature, security and more— it also allows you to monitor gas and water pressure and play music throughout your house via connected speakers.

The potential is huge. It can give you direct control over connected garage doors and locks along with connected shades that let sunlight enter and exit your room at will. All of this means that once set up to your own specifications, living in a smart home is generally easier operationally than ever before.

The Controller is impressive in how much it can do practically anywhere at anytime. It has the ability to improve the quality of peoples lives by making daily tasks easier and more convenient. For someone who is disabled, Smart technology, when personalized to a specific set of needs can be a great companion.

This level of automation may be a little over the top for some people, a bit too convenient. Providing too much comfort and digital dependence. But for anyone who wants to experience what it’s like to live in a smart home, they should seriously consider buying one of these controllers.
